Feedbak Band
In late 1995 thru 1996, I joined an hard-edged rock cover band, which was already named as "Feedbak". This video was filmed at a gig in Dec 1995. The first gig I played with them was just 2 weeks earlier on Thanksgiving Eve, which went great. That place was packed and the crowd was awesome. Of course, nobody brought a camera. Then I figured I would capture our great crowd at our next gig (this one). What a disappointment!
Also not ideal, was that the bass player didn't use an amp - he just plugged into one of the 8 channels on the powered mixer! Then 2 channels were for mic-ing the kick and snare drums, another for mic-ing the lead guitar, and the other remaining 4 for vocals. My channel was all the way up, and still I had to belt and push with everything I had just to be heard. And the sound quality was not good. The recording with the camcorder seemed to equalized the levels alot, but being there, I can tell you that I could barely hear myself and I put alot of strain on my voice. Other people there at this gig also came up to me a few times and said they couldn't really hear my vocals either. (Which I guess was fortunate under the circumstances).
