Live Performance

Starting in my early 20's, I have been performing live, both covers and originals. All of my original bands were always in the 80's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal genre. But for my many, many cover bands, I have covered virtually all styles of music from the 1950's to today. These would include: classic rock, HR/HM, oldies/motown, reggae, pop/disco/dance, modern rock, acoustic/folk, etc., etc.

In addition to being in bands, I have performed as a solo performer for many years, starting out in the early 90's with just an acoustic guitar and microphone, to eventually upgrading to fully instrumented MIDI backing tracks with an electric guitar in the mid-late 90's. I have also worked this situation as a duo act with several female singers, plus even a few male musicians have sat in with me on occassion.

I was fortunate enough to play with quite a number of very talented people along the way. But I could never seem to find people with all the things needed for the band to truly succeed: that is, not only the talent, but also the drive, ambition, responsibility, organization, proper focus, and being a team player. And some of the guys/bands that I've played with didn't even have that much talent, let alone any of the other stuff. So none of my bands we ever all that sucessful.

Anwyay, here is a list of some of the bands I had been a part of during the years: Casual Disorder, Joker State U, Trouble Shooter, Small Talk, Makara, Lady Jane, Reggae Country, Bad Attitude, Shadow Road, Mr. Slate, Ranzack, Gutter, Ded Pistol, Feedbak, Gypsy Road, Roscoe Simpson, Beat Crazy, Exit 80, Power Stroke, It Doesn't Matter, Vertigo, Sunset Strip, Route 66, plus a whole slew of others.

Below are links to audio/video clips of a few of the above mentioned bands (all of these are cover bands), some are audio clips from demo tapes/CD's, while others are video clips from live performances or rehearsals. Speaking of the latter, it always seemed to work out that anytime we had a video camera at a gig it would turn out to be a lame crowd, and the times when we had a good crowd, nobody had brought a camcorder. So the following are the reverse chronologically dated links:
