Samples of Image Editing

Using Photoshop and other tools, here are just a few samples of images I have edited:

1) In 1997, a friend and former dancer was publishing and planning to sell/distribute several thousand copies of a printed 1998 calendar entitled "Hell On Wheels". She needed me to edit several pictures of a few models and mostly other dancers on bikes and cars. Below is a before and after picture of the one she choose for the front cover.

2) Group photo for my band "Sunset Strip". We took a picture of ourselves in rehearsal, but wanted to make it appear as if we were standing in front of the famous tattoo parlor on the Sunset Strip in LA. 2a) Our logo was made from the wall of that same tattoo parlor, where we replaced the knife/dagger with a red "80's metal style" guitar. Also the text is changed to show our band's name instead, plus all of the signatures that were inside the stars were changed to the names of the bands which we were covering.

3) Logo for my band "Roscoe Simpson". This was modified clipart, as the band was actually named after a schoolmate friend of the bass player, but we decided to make a play on the name using a sheriff hat and police uniform for the "Roscoe" part (i.e. "Roscoe" from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show), and of course for "Simpson" part, a picture of Homer Simpson.
